Chautauqua is 100% volunteer! And we need YOU to ensure the festival continues. There are MANY areas in which you would be greatly valued, whether short term (during the festival) or as a committee member during the planning phase. See below for some of the Volunteer opportunities.
VOLUNTEERING
The Chautauqua Music Festival takes months of planning and 1000's of hours of man-power to cr*eate. More than just music, the CMF offers workshops, demos, vendors, spoken word, fundraisers and more. It is nearly entirely funded by donations and sponsorships as well as the one major fundraiser held each year on St. Patrick's day weekend. We also offer 2 major raffles and of course ticket sales.

All of this means that we need bodies to not only set up & tear down during the eevnt, but also many dedicated individuals to either head up or assist in the following areas:
* Fundraising
* Social Media
* Graphic Design
* Website design
* Ticket Sales Management
* Bookkeeping
* Vendor Coordindation
* Talent Booking
* Talent Hospitality Coordinator
* Micro Chautauqua (Major Fundraiser) Coordinator
* Event Specific help: (set up, tear down, entry, merch booth, talent hospitality, MC, and more)
​* Other areas as needed.
